Court orders WAEC to release cancelled BECE results of 20 candidates
The Accra High Court has ordered the West African Examination Council to release the results of 20 candidates whose papers were cancelled after the 2017 Basic Education Certification Examinations.
The candidates had their results cancelled after WAEC claimed they had colluded to cheat during the exams.
But, they dragged the examination council to court accusing it of breaching their fundamental human rights.
The proprietor of the A to Z Preparatory JHS Godwin Aaron Monyo in an told JoyNews the cancellation of the paper dented the school’s reputation.
